Earn Rs. 90,000 Per Month With the Young Development Fellows Program

The Planning Commission of Pakistan has opened applications for its flagship Young Development Fellows program under the Uraan Pakistan initiative.

The Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives launched the one year fellowship to provide young professionals with hands on experience in national development planning and public policy.

Selected fellows will work with senior policymakers and participate directly in policy formulation, innovation, reform initiatives, and development planning linked to Pakistan’s economic transformation.

The program seeks to prepare a new generation of impact driven young leaders who can contribute to national development priorities and support the goals of the Uraan Pakistan program.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions.

  • Applicants must fall between 21 and 30 years of age
  • Applicants must hold a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Applicants must possess a master’s degree or a 16 year professional qualification from a recognized local or foreign university

The Planning Commission will accept candidates from the following disciplines.

Stipend

The Planning Commission will pay selected fellows a monthly stipend of Rs. 90,000 for one year.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit applications through courier on the prescribed application proforma available at www.pc.gov.pk/web/career.

Candidates must send a hard copy of the completed proforma along with their CV and attested copies of academic degrees and testimonials. Applicants must ensure the documents reach the concerned office within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.

The Planning Commission will reject incomplete applications. Authorities will invite only shortlisted candidates for interviews. The program will not offer any TA or DA.
