Zuma Resources Appoints New Chairman and CEO

Zuma Resources Limited (formerly Bilal Fibres Limited) has announced a major leadership reshuffle, appointing a new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, as disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The board of directors accepted the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Naeem Omer and appointed Muhammad Usman Saber as the new CEO, effective January 1, 2026. The changes were approved during the company’s board meeting held on December 31.

In a parallel move, the board also appointed Syed Tahir Nawazish as chairman, replacing Muhammad Aslam Bhatti. The new appointment will also take effect from January 1, 2026.

Alongside the leadership transition, the board accepted the resignation of Company Secretary Muhammad Ijaz Shahid and appointed Muhammad Saeed in his place from the same date.

The company also approved its quarterly financial accounts for the period ended September 30, 2025, during the same board meeting.

Zuma Resources Limited, formerly known as Bilal Fibres Limited, is a listed entity with its registered office in Lahore.
