The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has rejected claims circulating on social media regarding a complete shutdown of gas supply in Karachi.
In an official clarification, the company stated that no such announcement has been made and that reports suggesting a citywide suspension of gas supply are incorrect.
SSGC said that gas distribution in Karachi continues under the existing winter load management policy. The company clarified that night load management remains in place from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am, as per the current schedule.
The gas utility urged consumers to rely on official sources for accurate information and avoid spreading unverified reports.
SSGC advised the public to contact its helpline or visit its official website for authentic updates.
