Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan While Silver Stays at Record High

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday, in line with the downward trend in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold declined by Rs. 1,200 per tola, closing at Rs. 466,762.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs. 1,028 and was sold at Rs. 400,173, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In the international market, gold recorded a decrease of $12 and was quoted at $4,444 per ounce (including a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with the rate standing at Rs. 8,361 per tola.
