Motorola Razr Fold Debuts as Brand’s First Book-Style Foldable — And It Looks So Good

At CES 2026, Motorola unveiled the Razr Fold, marking the company’s first entry into the book-style foldable smartphone category. The device expands Motorola’s foldable lineup beyond clamshell designs and will be offered in two color options once it reaches the market.

It also seems to be one of the best-looking designs for book-style foldables at the moment, especially with that sleek carbon fiber back panel finish on the black variant.

Design and Display

The Motorola Razr Fold features a large 8.09-inch LTPO foldable inner display with 2K resolution. When folded, users interact with a 6.56-inch outer screen. Motorola has not shared further technical details about the displays beyond size and resolution.

The device will be available in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White color options.

Internals and Software

Motorola confirmed that the Razr Fold includes AI-powered features such as Catch Me Up and Next Move. The phone also supports the Moto Pen Ultra stylus for input and productivity tasks.

The company did not disclose information about the processor, memory, storage, battery capacity, charging speeds, or durability ratings at the time of announcement.

Cameras

The Razr Fold comes equipped with a triple rear camera system. This includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The rear camera system supports Dolby Vision video recording.

For selfies, Motorola has included two front-facing cameras. There is a 32MP camera on the cover display and a 20MP camera located on the inner foldable screen.

Battery and Pricing

Motorola has not yet revealed battery details, pricing, availability timelines, or the complete specification sheet for the Razr Fold. The company said these details will be announced at a later date.
