Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to operate its upcoming London services from Islamabad and Lahore using the Boeing 777, confirming the aircraft type that will be deployed on the key UK route.

The Boeing 777, a long-haul widebody aircraft, is typically used for high-demand international sectors and signals PIA’s intent to allocate a larger-capacity jet to the London route as it expands its international network.

As a separate recent PIA-related update reported by ProPakistani, the airline has also started early operational planning for Ramadan 2026, issuing tenders for onboard iftar items, including 130,000 date packets and juice packs for domestic and international flights, with bids due mid-January
