Tianjin University has announced the Chinese Government Scholarship – High-Level Postgraduate Program 2026 (Type B) for international students seeking admission to Master’s and PhD programs.
The highly competitive, fully funded scholarship seeks to attract outstanding students from around the world, particularly in the fields of engineering, science, management, humanities, and social sciences.

Scholarship Coverage

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum GPA: 3.2 out of 4.0 or equivalent
- PhD applicants must have at least one published academic paper
- Must meet academic requirements of the selected program
Language Requirements
English-taught programs:
- IELTS (minimum 6.0) or TOEFL (minimum 80)
Chinese-taught programs:
- HSK Level 5 (minimum score: 180)
