Lenovo Reveals Super Light Sub-1kg Laptop with 2.8K OLED Display

Lenovo has begun selling the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition following its recent showcase at CES 2026. The 14-inch laptop is part of Intel’s new Panther Lake platform and succeeds the earlier Lunar Lake-based Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition.

Different Processor Than CES Demo

At CES, Lenovo highlighted the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition with the Core Ultra X9 388H processor. However, the first retail units available in the UK ship with the Core Ultra 7 355 instead.

The Core Ultra 7 355 features an 8-core configuration, split between 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. By comparison, the Core Ultra X9 388H shown at launch includes a more complex 16-core design with 4 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores, and 4 low-power efficiency cores. Graphics on the Core Ultra 7 355 are handled by an integrated GPU with 4 Xe3 cores.

Lenovo has not confirmed whether the Core Ultra X9 388H variant will be offered at a later date.

Display and Hardware

Other hardware specifications remain unchanged from the CES reveal. The Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition is equipped with a 2.8K OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and peak HDR brightness of up to 1,110 nits. The panel supports 100 percent of both AdobeRGB and sRGB color gamuts and carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification.

The laptop is paired with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory clocked at up to 9,600MHz. Storage options include 1TB or 2TB M.2 2242 SSDs.

Design, Battery, and Build

Lenovo uses a magnesium alloy chassis to keep the weight low. The Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition weighs 975 grams, or just under 2.2 pounds, and measures 312 × 212 × 13.9mm.

A 75Wh battery is included, and the device features Lenovo’s matte Yoga coating, which is designed to reduce fingerprints and surface oils during daily use.

Pricing and Availability

In the UK, Lenovo has priced the 1TB model at £1,620. The 2TB configuration costs £1,879 and includes a Windows 11 Pro license. All prices include VAT. Both versions will be available through Lenovo’s official website starting February 6.
