Dongfeng Motor Pakistan is gearing up to strengthen its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the Dongfeng Vigo EV in the local market.
Also known globally as the Nammi 06, the compact electric SUV is scheduled to make its Pakistani debut on January 15, 2026. With this launch, Dongfeng will officially step into the country’s growing electric crossover segment.
The Vigo EV has been developed by China’s Dongfeng Motor as a compact, fully electric SUV aimed at urban and family use. Its arrival signals the brand’s intention to expand beyond passenger cars and tap into the increasingly popular SUV category.
Chawla Green Motors, the company representing Dongfeng in Pakistan, has already introduced the Dongfeng Box EV hatchback and the Dongfeng 007 EV sedan. With the Vigo EV joining the lineup, the brand will now offer electric vehicles across multiple segments, ranging from small hatchbacks and sedans to SUVs.
In terms of specifications, the Dongfeng Vigo EV is expected to deliver a driving range of up to 350 kilometers under WLTP standards. It comes equipped with a 51.5 kWh battery, making it suitable for daily commuting as well as longer city runs.
Dimension-wise, the electric SUV features a 2,715 mm wheelbase, while its overall length stands at 4,306 mm, width at 1,868 mm, and height at 1,645 mm, placing it firmly in the compact SUV category.
The Vigo EV is also expected to offer a range of modern features, including a 360-degree camera system and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) package.
