Chawla Green Motors has officially launched the Dongfeng Vigo EV in Pakistan, adding a new all-electric compact SUV to the local automotive market.
The company introduced the vehicle in two variants, E1 and E2. The E1 variant carries an ex-factory price of Rs. 6,999,000, while the E2 variant has been priced at Rs. 7,499,999. The announced booking amount for both variants is Rs. 1,200,000.
According to the launch details, the Dongfeng Vigo EV will be displayed for the public at Packages Mall from February 16 to February 18. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from the second week of February, subject to booking confirmation.
The Vigo EV features a front-wheel-drive layout and is powered by an electric motor producing 161 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with a 45 kWh battery, offering a claimed WLTP driving range of 353 kilometers.
The vehicle supports 60 kW DC fast charging and 6.6 kW AC charging. In terms of dimensions, the SUV measures 4,306 mm in length, 1,868 mm in width, and 1,654 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm.
Key features include 17-inch alloy wheels, a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, along with six airbags and a 540-degree camera system.
