The Government of Pakistan has decided to keep the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) and Motor Spirit (MS) Petrol unchanged for the remainder of January 2026.
The per liter price of HSD is still the same as informed on January 1.
HSD stays at Rs. 257.08 per litre. The price of MS, commonly known as petrol, will stay at 253.17 per liter for two more weeks.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the decision was made based on recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The revised prices will be in effect from January 16, 2026.
In the previous fortnight, diesel received a Rs. 8.57 per liter cut, while petrol was reduced by Rs. 10.28 per litre.
