Gold prices in Pakistan suddenly halted their rally on Thursday after declining by Rs. 3,700 per tola in the domestic market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs. 482,462.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs. 3,172, with the precious metal being sold at Rs. 413,633.
A day earlier, on Wednesday, the gold price per tola had closed at Rs. 486,162 after an increase of Rs. 4,300 during the trading session.
In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $37 to reach $4,601 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also registered a decrease, losing Rs. 150 to reach Rs. 9,425 per tola.
