Tecno has launched its new budget smartphone, the Spark Go 3, featuring strong drop resistance and an IP64 rating for dust and water protection. While this is not the highest water resistance, the strong dust protection should keep any particles from getting in and compromising your phone in dusty environments.
Design and Display
The smartphone features a 6.74-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be available in Aurora Purple, Galaxy Blue, Ink Black, and Titanium Grey color options
Internals and Software
The Spark Go 3 is powered by a Unisoc T7250 processor, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs Android 15 out of the box and comes with Tecno’s Ella AI assistant.
Tecno has not clarified what AI features we can expect from this assistant, but it is likely going to be a Google Assistant-like alternative with AI features.
Additional features include 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot for storage expansion, and a USB Type-C port.
Cameras
On the back, the device is equipped with a 13MP single camera along with an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, it offers an 8MP front camera placed inside a large cutout.
Video recording is likely limited to 1080p 30 FPS on both the front and back cameras.
Battery and Pricing
The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 15W wired charging.
The Tecno Spark Go 3 is priced at $99 in India for the single 4GB/64GB variant, and Pakistani pricing will likely be similar, especially if the phone is locally produced.
