Gold Prices Skyrocket in Pakistan, Just Short of Rs. 500,000 Mark

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Tuesday, following massive gains in the international market.

The price of gold per tola reached Rs. 493,662, a new all-time high, after rising Rs. 4,300 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 423,235, up Rs. 3,686, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, gold per tola had climbed to Rs. 489,362, gaining Rs. 7,500 in a single day.

Internationally, gold prices rose by $43 to reach $4,713 per ounce, with a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices also increased, rising Rs. 87 to Rs. 9,869 per tola.
