The Punjab government has unveiled an official logo to give the Basant festival a distinct and cohesive identity. The logo features Lahore Fort, colorful kites, and prominent elements of Punjabi culture.
The design reflects the festival’s spirit through bright colors, flowers, and cultural symbols, highlighting the traditional significance of Basant.
Traditional instruments such as the dhol have been incorporated into the design, along with visual representations of Punjabi cultural characters.
The lower section and borders of the logo include traditional Punjabi elements, framing the lively and festive atmosphere associated with Basant.
According to officials, special artistic work has been carried out using flowers and bold colors to enhance the logo’s visual appeal. All official Basant-related activities will now be organized under this single branding.
Authorities have also announced that the logo has been granted official trademark status to discourage fake posters and unauthorized events.
The use of this official logo will be mandatory on all permits and promotional materials issued for Basant-related activities.
