Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) on Friday said its wholly owned subsidiary, Mari Minerals (Private) Limited, has entered into a joint venture agreement with Canada-based MSALABS Limited to establish and operate a full-service assay laboratory in Pakistan.
The company disclosed in a stock filing that the project is subject to the receipt of requisite corporate, regulatory and governmental approvals.
Under the agreement, a separate project company will be incorporated with equal shareholding between Mari Minerals and MSALABS.
The proposed laboratory will offer comprehensive ISO-certified mineral testing services, covering the full spectrum from sample preparation to assaying, aimed at supporting mining and exploration activities in Pakistan.
