Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) has launched Dubai+, a new digital platform offering local, Arab, and international content under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
The announcement was made at a press conference in Dubai on January 30.
Dubai+ provides viewers with more than 20 exclusive series, six original productions, over 170 international movies, live TV, and sports coverage, including 12 live championships.
The platform emphasizes family-friendly viewing, featuring content controls and classification systems to ensure a safe experience.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, highlighted that the platform supports Dubai’s wider media strategy, promoting private-sector participation and advanced storytelling aligned with the city’s future vision.
Mohamed AlMulla, CEO of DMI, said Dubai+ will expand its content and features in future phases, positioning itself as a one-stop digital destination for Arab audiences seeking entertainment, news, sports, and original productions on demand.
Pricing and subscription details for Dubai+ have not yet been announced.
