Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Saturday, mirroring a drop in the global market.
The price of gold fell by Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 511,862 per tola in the local market. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 21,862 to Rs. 438,839, as reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
A day earlier, on Friday, gold prices had dropped by Rs. 35,500, settling at Rs. 537,362 per tola. Internationally, gold prices fell by $255 to $4,895 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also edged down, with a decline of Rs. 2,063, bringing the per-tola rate to Rs. 9,006.
