Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday, tracking gains in the international market.
The price of gold per tola reached Rs. 524,762, up Rs. 5,300 during the day, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 449,898 after rising Rs. 4,544.
On Saturday, the price of gold per tola had reached Rs. 519,462 following a gain of Rs. 11,700.
The international gold rate also climbed, gaining $53 to reach $5,020 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices saw an increase of Rs. 346, reaching Rs. 8,615 per tola in the local market.
