Police Busts Fake Medicines Factory in Karachi

Police arrested three workers and seized a large quantity of counterfeit medicines during a raid on an illegal medicines factory in Karachi.

The raid was conducted after police received credible information that fake medicines were being manufactured at the facility. During the operation, three individuals identified as Nauman, Ahmad Farooqi, and Faizan, who were working at the factory, were taken into custody.

However, the factory owner, Siddique, and his son, Zaid Siddique, managed to escape from the scene during the raid.

Police impounded several cartons filled with counterfeit medicines and revealed that Siddique and his son had been operating the factory for a short period of time.

A case has been registered against the accused, and police have launched a search operation to arrest Siddique and his son. Authorities also stated that Siddique has been arrested multiple times in the past.
