AIOU Introduces AI-Based Linguistic Tool to Modernize Urdu

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) hosted the launch of an artificial intelligence-powered linguistic tool, “Gramora for Urdu,” aimed at strengthening the Urdu language and bringing it in line with contemporary technological advancements.

Minister of State for Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar and Senator Pervez Rashid attended the ceremony as chief guests.

They formally inaugurated the software and commended the development team for creating a platform designed to support Urdu in the digital age.

The initiative is intended to facilitate the use of Urdu in modern computing environments and promote its integration into emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence-based applications.
