Public Holiday Announced for Overseas Kashmir Conference

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a public holiday in Muzaffarabad on Monday, February 16, in view of the Overseas Kashmir Conference being held in the capital.

According to an official notification, all government and semi-government offices, along with private commercial centers in Muzaffarabad, will remain closed on the day. Authorities said the decision was taken to facilitate the smooth conduct of the conference and to manage arrangements for visiting guests.

A large number of overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris are expected to attend the conference. Officials said the holiday will help authorities better manage traffic flow, administrative matters, and security arrangements across the city.
