Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, in line with the gains in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose to Rs. 516,062 after gaining Rs. 1,300 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 442,439, up Rs. 1,114, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold per tola had closed at Rs. 514,762 following a decline of Rs. 9,000 during the day.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $13 to reach $4,933 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also edged higher, rising by Rs. 32 to settle at Rs. 8,046 per tola.
