The federal government has issued a notification announcing revised office timings for federal government offices during Ramadan 2026.
According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat’s Establishment Division, federal offices will observe adjusted working hours throughout the holy month.
For offices working on a five-day week basis, working hours from Monday to Thursday will be from 9:00am to 3:00pm, while on Friday offices will operate from 9:00am to 12:30pm.
For offices working on a six-day week basis, working hours from Monday to Thursday and Saturday will be from 9:00am to 2:00pm. On Fridays, these offices will also function from 9:00am to 12:30pm.
The notification, dated February 18, 2026, states that the revised schedule will be observed by all federal government offices during Ramadan.
