The National Emergencies Operation Centre of the National Disaster Management Authority has issued a weather outlook for Ramadan 2026.
According to the NDMA, most parts of the country will experience generally pleasant weather during the month. Daytime temperatures will rise gradually, while nights will remain relatively cool.
During the first Ashra of Ramadan, dry weather will prevail in most regions. Light rain may occur in northern and western areas, and nights will remain cold in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and north Balochistan.
In the second Ashra, temperatures will increase slightly. Scattered rain is likely in northern areas, central Punjab, and the Pothohar region, with chances of windstorms and thunderstorms at isolated places. During the third Ashra, rain is likely in various parts of the country, including intermittent spells in northern Pakistan and central Punjab.
By the end of Ramadan, temperatures are likely to rise significantly in southern Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan. The NEOC said it is issuing early warnings to the public and relevant institutions regarding expected weather conditions and possible hazards.
