Gold prices in Pakistan surged to Rs. 533,562 per tola on Saturday, rising by Rs. 7,100 in a single day in line with gains in the international market.
According to market data, the price of 10 grams of gold also rose to Rs. 457,443 after an increase of Rs. 6,087.
A day earlier, gold had already shown upward momentum, reaching Rs. 526,462 per tola after gaining Rs. 2,500. In the international market, gold prices increased by $71 to $5,108 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
The global rally continues to drive domestic price movements, with local markets closely tracking international trends.
Silver prices also recorded a notable rise, increasing by Rs. 374 to reach Rs. 8,948 per tola.
The upward trend can be attributed to global economic uncertainty and increased investor demand for safe-haven assets, which continue to support bullion prices.
