12-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Sexually Abused at Madrassa in Rawalpindi

Police in Rawalpindi have registered a case following allegations of sexual abuse involving a 12-year-old boy at a madrassa in Gujar Khan.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed within the jurisdiction of Gujar Khan Police Station, the incident allegedly took place at a village mosque that houses a two-story madrassa building.

The complaint states that after completing his duty of calling the prayer (azaan), the boy was sitting in a designated area when the accused, identified as Ibrahim Yaseen, allegedly seized him. The suspect is accused of sexually assaulting the boy and recording a video of the incident.

The FIR further states that Yaseen and three unidentified accomplices later allegedly blackmailed the child by showing him the video and threatening to make it public if he told anyone.

According to the complaint, the boy was initially too frightened to disclose what had happened. However, the video was later circulated, revealing the alleged abuse.

After the video went viral, the child disclosed the full details of the incident, the complainant said. The complaint states that the alleged abuse and the circulation of the video harmed both the boy’s honor and the family’s reputation.

The complainant has demanded that a case be formally registered and that all those responsible for the alleged abuse and the distribution of the video be arrested.

Police have confirmed that a case has been registered and that an investigation is underway.
