Punjab Juvenile Driving Permit Fee and Process Revealed

Punjab Traffic Police will begin issuing Juvenile Driving Permits for two-wheeled motorcycles to applicants aged 16 to 18 starting March 1.

According to the department, eligible applicants must visit their nearest driving license center along with a parent or legal guardian and a NADRA-issued B-Form or Juvenile CNIC as proof of age.

At the center, applicants will receive a Juvenile Driving Permit form. The form requires basic applicant details including full name, father’s name, date of birth, proof of age, B-Form or Juvenile CNIC number, gender, nationality, permanent address, and contact number.

The form also includes a mandatory parent or guardian consent section. The accompanying parent or guardian must provide their name, relationship to the applicant, CNIC number, and mobile number.

A declaration section requires the parent or guardian to formally grant permission for the minor to apply for the permit. After submitting the completed form, applicants will receive a PSID number. They must then pay a processing fee of Rs. 500.

Traffic authorities said the initiative aims to regulate underage motorcycle riding and ensure that teenagers operate vehicles under proper documentation and parental supervision. Further instructions regarding testing and permit issuance will be provided at the respective license centers.
