Punjab Introduces E-Sheets for Class 8 Board Exams

The Punjab Education Commission will conduct the annual Class 8 examinations on e-sheets for the first time in the province’s history.

Under the new system, authorities will scan answer sheets and check them digitally. District Chief Executive Officers of Education will collect examination papers from their respective areas.

Earlier, the Punjab Education Commission announced that the annual examinations for Class 8 students across Punjab will begin on March 9, 2026. According to the date sheet, the first paper will be Mathematics on March 9, followed by Urdu on March 10, English on March 11, and Science on March 12.

The commission will conduct examinations in these four core subjects, while individual schools will organize assessments for the remaining subjects.

Officials have directed candidates to reach their examination centers at least 30 minutes before the start of each paper. Examinations will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The commission will announce the final results on April 9.
