Gold prices in Pakistan moved higher on Monday after the US-Israel nexus attacked Iran, killing the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other senior military officials.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 13,300 to reach Rs. 563,862.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 11,402 to Rs. 483,420, according to the rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold prices had already seen a sharp jump, with the per tola rate climbing Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 550,562.
On the global front, gold prices gained further momentum, with the international rate rising $133 to $5,411 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market also edged up. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs. 188 to Rs. 10,050.
