Illegal gold mining has been a recurring issue in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where individuals and groups have used heavy machinery to extract gold deposits from riverbeds and nearby areas without government authorization.
In response, authorities have intensified enforcement measures and authorized district administrations to take strict legal action against individuals involved in illegal mining operations.
