LPG Prices Jump by Up to Rs. 100 Per Kg

Liquefied petroleum gas prices have increased sharply in Pakistan, with retail rates rising by up to Rs. 100 per kilogram amid supply concerns linked to the ongoing Iran conflict.

According to representatives of the LPG marketing association, the retail price has climbed from around Rs. 250 per kilogram to between Rs. 320 and Rs. 350 per kilogram.

Association leader Ali Haider said LPG supply has declined since the escalation of tensions involving Iran, leading to higher prices in the domestic market.
