vivo has launched the Y51 Pro 5G as the latest addition to its Y series lineup. The smartphone arrives as the successor to the vivo Y31 Pro 5G, which debuted in September last year. The new model brings a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset, a 7,200mAh battery, and IP68 and IP69 ratings.
The vivo Y51 Pro 5G features a 6.75-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone measures 7.8mm thick and weighs 219g. It comes in Festive Red and Noble Gold color options.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor. It is available with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The phone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM support.
The vivo Y51 Pro 5G has a dual rear camera system that includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the front, the phone has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The device packs a 7,200 mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging.
The vivo Y51 Pro 5G starts at $270 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 256GB version is priced at $305.
