KP Govt Launches Plan to Revive Model Schools Across Province

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a plan to revive model schools and institutes across the province following a key meeting chaired by Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar.

The meeting of the Elementary and Secondary Education Department reviewed the overall condition of model schools and institutes across the province.

Officials briefed participants on administrative, teaching, and infrastructural problems affecting these institutions.

During the meeting, it was decided to revive model schools and institutes throughout Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. To move the process forward, a working group has been formed to prepare a comprehensive rehabilitation plan.

The working group will be headed by the Provincial Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education.

The group will examine the challenges faced by model schools, including issues related to teaching staff, human resources, and infrastructure deficiencies. It will later submit a report containing actionable recommendations.
