The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has made student registration mandatory for all medical and dental colleges and approved fee increases for 19 private institutions, according to an official notification.
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has directed all public and private medical and dental colleges to ensure the timely registration of every admitted student.
Under the new directive, strict action will be taken against institutions that fail to comply with the rules.
The council has also introduced several penalties for administrative violations:
Institutions violating the rules three times may be placed on the PMDC grey list, and their seat allocation for the following year could be reduced.
