The United States Embassy in Islamabad has announced that it will continue to provide routine and emergency services to U.S. citizens.
In an update, the embassy said all immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments have been cancelled through March 20.
According to the embassy, affected visa applicants will receive instructions by email regarding the rescheduling of their appointments. Applicants can also check the status of their appointments through the official website.
The embassy further stated that all consular services at the U.S. Consulates General in Karachi and Lahore will remain suspended.
