How Does the Galaxy S26 Ultra Hold Up in Extreme Durability Test?

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra has undergone a durability test on the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel shortly after appearing in a teardown video the day before. The test evaluates how the phone performs under several stress conditions, including scratching, exposure to heat, and bending.

The video follows the channel’s typical testing process to check the device’s structural strength and material quality.

Scratch Resistance

The display begins to show scratches at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, with deeper grooves appearing at level 7. According to the test, the scratches at level 6 are barely noticeable.

This result represents a slight improvement compared with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which showed more visible marks under similar conditions.

Frame and Heat Test

The test also confirms that the sides of the Galaxy S26 Ultra are made from aluminum.

During the heat test, an open flame is applied directly to the screen for about 20 seconds. The display withstands the heat without causing permanent damage to the pixels.

Bend Test Results

The final part of the durability test focuses on structural strength. When pressure is applied from different directions, the Galaxy S26 Ultra does not bend.

According to the test, the device shows no visible flex during the bending process, indicating a strong overall build.
