Baseus has introduced a new pair of budget wireless earbuds called the TWS 1 Youth Edition. The earbuds are currently available in China for only $10, thanks to a special introductory price, but the final retail price is going to go higher after a while.
Audio and Call Features
The Baseus TWS 1 Youth Edition uses a 10mm dynamic driver designed to deliver immersive sound. The earbuds also include dynamic bass enhancement supported by a three-channel airflow system that improves low-frequency performance.
In addition, the earbuds provide 3D spatial sound effects intended to create a wider soundstage.
For calls, the earbuds feature dual microphones combined with AI-based noise reduction. This system reduces background sounds such as wind or traffic while isolating the user’s voice for clearer conversations.
Design and Connectivity
Each earbud weighs around 3.3 grams and uses a water drop-shaped design intended to provide a secure fit while reducing pressure in the ear.
The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor activities.
For connectivity, the device supports Bluetooth 6.0, which improves stability and efficiency during wireless connections. Baseus also included a low-latency mode that reduces delay to around 60ms, which may help during gaming or video playback.
The earbuds support dual device pairing, allowing them to connect to two devices at the same time.
Battery and Charging
The Baseus TWS 1 Youth Edition offers up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge. When used with the charging case, the total playback time can reach up to 40 hours.
The earbuds support fast charging, providing around 1.5 hours of playback after just 10 minutes of charging. The charging case uses a USB-C port and requires about two hours to fully recharge.
Touch controls are also included, allowing users to manage music playback, answer calls, and activate voice assistants directly from the earbuds.
