vivo Teases New Color System Ahead of X300 Ultra Launch

vivo has shared new details about its upcoming X300 Ultra ahead of its expected launch later this month in China. The company’s latest teaser focuses on a new imaging system called Blueprint Native Color, which is designed to improve color accuracy in photos.

New Color Science System

The Blueprint Native Color system is a newly developed color processing framework aimed at delivering more natural color reproduction. Vivo said the system has been built on its accumulated imaging experience and represents a complete redesign of its color-rendering approach.

The updated system is designed to enhance luminance while maintaining accurate colors and preserving natural light and shadow details in images.

Improved Portrait and HDR Processing

According to Vivo, portrait shots taken with the X300 Ultra will show more natural skin textures. The device also introduces a new Smooth EV dynamic compression algorithm that processes multi-frame HDR data after the shutter is pressed.

This approach is intended to balance exposure and detail without producing overly processed results.

Color Rendering Approach

Vivo is also introducing a Blueprint Color Model that aims to replicate how the human eye perceives changes in color. The system is designed to adjust tones in a way that reflects real-world color transitions.

The overall goal is to achieve a professional camera-like output with realistic colors, avoiding excessive HDR effects or artificial enhancements.

Availability

The Blueprint Native Color system will be available on both the vivo X300 Ultra and the X300s.
