Gold Price Falls Sharply in Pakistan After Brief Rally

Gold in Pakistan suddenly stopped rising and posted huge losses on Thursday.

The price of one tola decreased by Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 468,262, while 10 grams declined by Rs. 9,430 to Rs. 401,459, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Wednesday, gold jumped to Rs. 479,262 per tola after gaining Rs. 15,200 during the session.

The international market, meanwhile, saw gold prices declined by $110, bringing the rate to $4,455 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium.

Silver depreciated after losing Rs. 340 to settle at Rs. 7,484 per tola.
