Suzuki Cultus Killer Affordable JMEV EV3 Officially Launched in Pakistan

Capital Smart Motors (CSM) has launched the JMEV EV3, an all-electric sub-compact hatchback, in Pakistan after its earlier unveiling at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) last year.

The company is offering the vehicle in two variants, with the base variant priced at Rs. 4,899,000 and the top variant at Rs. 4,999,999 as introductory prices. Bookings for the EV3 will open in April 2026 with a booking amount of Rs. 490,000, although an exact date has not yet been announced.

Deliveries are expected to begin in July 2026, suggesting a gap of around three months between booking and initial deliveries.

The launch marks Capital Smart Motors’ entry into the small electric hatchback segment in Pakistan, where demand for electric vehicles is gradually increasing amid rising fuel costs and growing interest in alternative energy solutions.

Despite the announcement, the company has not yet released detailed specifications, including battery capacity, charging time, motor output and additional features. Further details are expected to be shared closer to the start of bookings as the company prepares for its market rollout.

  • All Suzuki cars are junk. This EV will be more junk. After five years, it will not be drivable. Remember my words.

  • The fuel expense will be the same as with petrol/diesel vehicles as cost of electricity is far too high
