Here’s How Bike Owners Will Get Petrol Subsidy

The federal government has finally revealed the mechanism for its long-awaited fuel subsidy for vehicle owners amid soaring petrol prices.

Sources informed ProPakistani that currently, only motorcycle riders will receive the subsidy, while procedures for trucks and transport buses are still being finalized.

Sources confirmed that the subsidy will be transferred directly to registered owners’ bank accounts via digital wallets, and only vehicles registered in the owner’s name will qualify.

Key Details of the Subsidy

• Motorcycles: Rs. 100 per litre petrol subsidy.
• Trucks: Rs. 70,000 per month for standard trucks;
• Rs. 80,000 for heavy commercial vehicles.
• Buses: Rs. 100,000 per month.
• Small Farmers: Rs. 1,500 per acre as agricultural fuel support.

Sources added that this targeted relief aims to ease financial pressure on daily commuters, transport operators, and small-scale farmers struggling with rising fuel costs.
