The National Highway Authority has issued a fresh notification revising toll charges on the country’s national highways and motorways, with the updated rates set to take effect from April 5, 2026.
According to the notification issued by the NHA’s Finance Wing, Revenue Directorate, the revised rates apply across national highways, the Kohat Tunnel, the Islamabad-Mianwali-Dera Ismail Khan Corridor West section, and multiple motorway routes.
For national highways, the toll for cars has been fixed at Rs. 100, while cars using the Kohat Tunnel (N-55) will pay Rs. 250. On the IMDCW (E-75) route, the car toll has been listed at Rs. 300.
The notification also shows higher toll rates on key motorway corridors. For cars, the toll has been set at Rs. 700 on the Islamabad-Peshawar (M-1) motorway, Rs. 1,000 on Lahore-Abdul Hakeem (M-3), and Rs. 1,300 on Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad-Multan (M-4).
Meanwhile, motorists traveling on Multan-Sukkur (M-5) will pay Rs. 1,500 for cars, while the toll for the D.I Khan-Hakla (M-14) motorway has been fixed at Rs. 800. On the Hassanabdal-Havelian-Mansehra Expressway (E-35), cars will be charged Rs. 350.
The revised toll structure also covers larger passenger and commercial vehicles, including wagons, buses, coasters, mini-buses, 2 and 3 axle trucks, and articulated trucks. The highest listed toll in the notification is Rs. 7,150 for articulated trucks traveling on the Multan-Sukkur (M-5) motorway.

Absolute injustice and unjustified increase in tolls will add insult to injury 🙄. Poor public already paying too much.no where to go no one is listening no one is caring.
Govt has taken each and every step to loot the public. The public is inert as neon gas.
