CM Punjab Launches Punjab Police App for Reporting Lost Documents

Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Thursday inaugurated the Punjab Police Pakistan App, allowing citizens to report lost documents from their homes.

Through the new app, residents can register complaints for lost identity cards, passports, and driving licenses without visiting a police station or service center.

After submitting a report, a copy of the missing report (FIR) will also be delivered to the applicant’s home.

The chief minister said the initiative is aimed at improving public services through the use of modern technology.

“Providing convenience to the public through innovation is our commitment,” she said, adding that placing Punjab on the path of technological advancement remains a key priority of her government.

Officials said the app will save citizens time and money while reducing the stress associated with visiting police stations and waiting to file reports.
