Honor has combined two vastly different products that no one ever asked for: a pair of earbuds and a computer mouse. The Honor Choice MouseBuds Pro is a very ordinary-looking mouse from the outside, but on the inside, it stores a pair of wireless earbuds for charging.
The device features a unique design where the back half of the mouse opens to reveal a pair of earbuds stored inside a built-in charging case. This removes the need to carry a separate case or manage extra cables. Once the mouse is connected using the included wireless receiver, the earbuds are automatically ready to use without any manual pairing. Users can simply take them out and start using them.
The device supports two operating modes. In computer mode, both the mouse and earbuds connect through the wireless receiver, ensuring a stable connection. In smartphone mode, the earbuds switch to Bluetooth and can be used independently without the mouse. Switching between these modes is handled by a single button, making it easy to move between work, calls, and media use.
On the hardware side, the mouse is equipped with a PixArt optical sensor with 1200 DPI, suitable for everyday tasks such as browsing and office work. It uses TTC quiet switches for the left and right buttons, rated for up to 5 million clicks, which helps reduce noise in shared environments. The surface features an excimer coating designed to feel smooth while resisting fingerprints and wear. The mouse also follows a simple ergonomic shape for a comfortable grip.
The earbuds feature a semi-open design and support adaptive active noise cancellation, which helps reduce background noise without fully sealing the ear. For calls, dual microphones with AI-based noise reduction improve voice clarity. Audio performance is supported by dual-magnetic dynamic drivers with an LCP diaphragm, designed to deliver stronger bass.
The device is powered by a 1000 mAh battery, which is rated to last up to 30 days under typical usage. Charging is done via USB-C. The mouse measures 112 × 60 × 34 mm and weighs 78 grams without the earbuds, increasing to 88 grams when they are stored inside. It is compatible with Windows 10 and later, as well as macOS 10.13 and above.
The product is priced at €99.90 in Germany and £79.99 in the UK.
