Pakistan’s two largest fertilizer producers, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Engro Fertilizers, are expected to further increase urea prices by Rs. 75 to Rs. 100 per bag, JS Global’s CFA Waqas Ghani told ProPakistani.
At present, FFC’s urea price stands at Rs. 4,286 per bag, while Engro’s urea is currently priced at Rs. 4,436 per bag.
This expected increase comes shortly after Engro had already raised its urea price by Rs. 150 per bag, taking the retail rate to around Rs. 4,435 effective April 4, 2026, according to market reports.
If the expected increase materializes, FFC’s urea price could move to around Rs. 4,361 to Rs. 4,386 per bag, while Engro’s rate may rise to approximately Rs. 4,511 to Rs. 4,536 per bag.
