The Punjab government has extended the deadline for applications under the CM Punjab Laptop Program Phase II, allowing students additional time to apply.
According to the updated announcement, the last date to submit applications has been extended to April 20, 2026.
Students can apply through the official portal at https://cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk/. The extension is expected to facilitate more eligible students in completing their applications and benefiting from the scheme, which aims to promote digital access and academic support.
Separately, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and States and Frontier Regions Amir Muqam highlighted the importance of technology in education during a laptop distribution ceremony at Bacha Khan University.
The minister said thousands of students have already benefited from the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, describing it as a key initiative for educational development. More than 200 laptops were distributed among students at the event, as part of ongoing efforts to expand access to technology in the education sector.
