K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL) has appointed Shaheryar Chishty as Chairman of its Board of Directors following recent board elections, the company informed the main bourse on Wednesday.
According to the company’s official notification submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the appointment was finalized during a Board of Directors meeting held on April 15, 2026.
With the appointment, Shaheryar Chishty will now lead the board in overseeing the direction and governance of the country’s largest private power utility, which supplies electricity to Karachi and surrounding areas.
K-Electric has not yet disclosed any additional changes in executive management alongside the new chairmanship appointment.
Last month, Chishti was appointed as acting chairman in the absence of Mark Skelton. At the time, KE confirmed Chishty’s role to perform chairman duties during Skelton’s absence.
