Govt Offices in Azad Kashmir to Remain Open on Fridays

The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has abolished the Friday weekly holiday in government offices, declaring it a full working day following approval from the President.

According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), the decision will take immediate effect across all government departments.

We’ve asked all offices to follow a full working schedule on Fridays to improve public service delivery and increase administrative efficiency.
