Gold prices in Pakistan rose 2nd day in a row on Monday in both local and international markets after last week’s heavy sell-off that lasted for five consecutive days.
In the international bullion market, gold gained $8 per ounce to reach $4,716 per ounce after US President Donald Trump survived what looked like a botched assassination attempt while he attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend.
In Pakistan, the price of per tola gold increased by Rs. 800, reaching Rs. 493,962 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 686, reaching Rs. 423,492.
The price of gold was Rs. 493,162 per tola on Saturday.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs. 8,049.
